• Product management responsibility for the Aeroquip, Weatherhead, and Winner brand hose and fitting products for the Americas region.• Analyze market & customer needs and lead product category team to develop business cases and product strategies for new product development, strategic alliances, and other organic growth initiatives. • Lead competitive intelligence for the product category by acquiring & retaining comprehensive knowledge of competitive positioning and competitor strategies. • Lead development of product strategies/roadmaps including positioning; manage product, segment & channel mix; and develop targeted value propositions while monitoring / addressing product life cycles. • Lead product category team to develop and provide leadership for manufacturing footprint, brand, and core pricing strategies globally. • Monitor product profitability for each product line and recommend changes to meet Eaton top and bottom line objectives. • Lead cross functional Product Category Team members to propose prioritization of product development and growth activities – Product Category Portfolio Management. • Interface with the Regional Eaton Product Managers, Engineers, Operations, Sales Team, Distributors, and customers to promote and support the sale of responsible product lines. • Lead the development and deployment of strategic programs to drive organic sales for the assigned product lines. • Functions as the leader for product management related items for integration activities when acquisitions are being integrated with Eaton • Support commercial marketing resource for, trade shows, Tech Days and other related National/International forums. Participation in Trade Associations. • Focus on increasing our share in underserved markets in the Americas.
