Apply naming conventions to create filename ID’s and print barcodes for tapes being archived.Enter high level metadata into tape tracking database Ingest tape based and file based media to media servers as well as monitoring multiple ingests simultaneously. Responsible for use of Waveform monitors and Vectorscopes along with Quality Control. Transcode various files of different formats, frame rates, and resolutions to media servers. In collaboration with Tape Operations, use up-converters with working knowledge of codecs and frame rates along with other various video specifications.
