Enterprise security architect responsible for providing strategic leadership and technical guidance for the design and development of strategies and solutions that mitigate risks to data, systems, and people while supporting business operational requirements. Conducting technical requirement discovery sessions with a variety of roles to perform gap analysis of requirements, develop overall solution design based off recommendations and knowledge and lead the technical solution architecture. Also includes analyzing complex business processes and identifying efficiency opportunities and or solutions to resolve process gaps or related business challenges. Designing and maintaining appropriate solutions to secure both internal and external-facing applications hosted in various IaaS, PaaS, or SaaS models. This includes ownership of security processes and procedures for application development by internal and contract developers. Implementing security systems by specifying intrusion detection methodologies and equipment; directing equipment and software installation and calibration; preparing preventive and reactive measures; creating, transmitting, and maintaining keys; providing technical support; completing documentation. Assisting the business in understanding the effort, risk and effect of making changes to all security platforms and communicate the downstream impacts of any changes to the business. Overseeing management of enterprise scale projects with global deployments from ideation phase to steady state environment, including test plans, user acceptance testing, deployment and support. Sharing best practices and be consultative to business partners throughout the duration of the project – act as a trusted partner. Tactfully working with internal business to address out of scope request and use business product owner to re-align expectations of seek additional scope/budget.
