Transportation Coordinator
Current• Lead bus driver for the Wellpinit school district.• Maintains safety standards in compliance with state, federal and insurance regulations.• Develops and administer the district’s transportation program to meet all of the safety requirements and standards, including assessing road conditions and assisting in determining inclement weather scheduled.• Ensures scheduling, dispatching, and other related duties are fulfilled. • Experienced with gasoline, diesel and electric powered multi-passenger vehicles.• Responsible for the maintenance of all fleet vehicles for mechanical defects. • Assists in maintaining inventory, and daily, weekly and/or monthly reports. • Assists in purchasing and ordering of supplies, as well as maintaining inventory for District Transportation services.• Assists in the maintenance and repair of all District owned buildings, grounds, facilities and mechanical systems. This includes, but is not limited to: heating, air and ventilation systems, foodservice equipment, roofs, plumbing, lighting and electrical systems and structural renovations as necessary.• Ensures the safety of buildings and grounds from fire, flood and other hazards.• Responsible for managing outdoor safety issues.• Maintains outside property, including landscaping and snow removal.• Responsible for pest control on school grounds.• Works with school and District management to develop and administer the summer maintenance and cleaning projects.• Performs custodial tasks as needed for the schools and housing in the District.Wellpinit School District Transportation Union President currentWellpinit, WA• Served as President the Wellpinit School District Transportation Union for 4 years, representing the members of Local union to the Wellpinit School Board, •
