Building the capability from a green field site in terms of team and processes in addition to promoting the proposition and winning new business.Previously I set up Cognition Global after 20 years working in senior positions in some of the most respected International Commercial Insurance companies either building or leading their multinational business propositions. I focus on transformation and change through clear leadership and a defined process around effective execution of strategy. I started my career in the British Military, leaving after several operational tours including Bosnia and Northern Ireland and having achieved the rank of Captain. I am now on the start of my journey to building a successful consultancy working globally and locally with interesting and dynamic companies. I am an accomplished international transformation and change leader, experienced at both building and leading multinational partnership networks and developing business eco systems (servicing hubs, processes and financial management protocols) . Having built the QBE and Swiss Re Global Network as well as leading the established and well respected R&SA Global Network, I am uniquely placed to support complex organisations with their strategies. I have a wealth of experience in developing long lasting business relationships, building effective operations and performance improvements across the functional areas essential in developing effective businesses. Complimenting my multinational insurance experience I also spent several years as a management consultant where I worked at C-suite level with large blue chip organisations such as Wal-Mart, BBC, Zurich Insurance, Bacardi and Diageo. I am also MBA qualified.
