As the Head of Supplier Quality, my main responsibilities are: ● Lead a department of Group SQA Engineers to ensure the qualification and re-certification of all suppliers as required.● Ensure that all supplier qualifications follow consistent standard procedures globally. ● Maintain an up-to-date Approved Supplier Listing.● Agree on required PPAP level on selected products and take the initial PPAP to conclusion.● In line with NPD or separate sourcing projects, develop supplier audit schedules as required.● Ensure post-supplier assessment, all non-conformance actions have been closed and the supplier has achieved the required scoring to proceed to PPAP. ● Authorise supply from new or existing suppliers to commence.● Publish monthly supplier quality performance report/scorecard and lead the monthly ADL global supplier quality performance review● Publish supplier performance reports to suppliers and lead quality improvement plans as required.● Prepare supplier quality and reliability performance data for supplier QBR Meetings and follow up on output actions.● Review current supplier quality performance to ADL manufacturing sites and develop and implement continuous supplier audit schedules visiting selected supplier sites on a regular ongoing basis setting improvement activity in line with agreed targets.● Work closely with ADL Reliability and Service teams and support where required reliability failure investigation with suppliers, driving to root cause corrective action and possible in-service rectification plan (Campaign).● Lead all RCCA, SCAR and continuous improvement activities with suppliers via site SQA escalations. ● Ensure prevention of repeat defects through promotion and utilization of 8D/3D methodology● Lead crisis management of all major supplier-related in-service and in-factory quality incidents.

As the Head of Quality, I am accountable for all internal manufacturing quality related to the vehicle build assembly. I am also accountable for purchased parts supplier quality and leading both departments (Quality and SQA) to set, achieve and surpass Charge Cars' objectives.My Key areas of responsibility are:● Collaborate, implement and validate processes, to continuously improve the Manufacturing and Business Operating Systems.● Develop and implement training plans to drive quality systems (QMS) initiatives and provide training in quality systems methodology (Root Cause Analysis, 8D, Pareto Analysis etc.).● Monitor and drive concern closure using an Issue Management System (Jira).● Adoption and integration of the Document Management System in alignment with ISO 9001:2015 to ensure evidence-based decision-making is maintained through released Procedures, Standards and Processes.● Provide suitable solutions to manage change (Design and Process) to ensure lean adoption of New Product Introduction for each programme.

As Head of SQA my role is to:Build and develop the SQA department.Set departmental strategy to achieve Charge Cars objectives.Standardize our way of working to eliminate NVA operations.Plan, cascade and monitor Supplier Site Audits which include sourcing, process maturation and significant production runs.Development of our supply chain

As a Lead Engineer my specific responsibilities were:Develop the Supplier Quality Assurance teams.Lead the Line Side Support Team (RTV & Incoming Inspection).Standardise our way of working inline with Group Lotus's key behaviours to support Vision80.Create systems which are simple and effective to reduce NVA operations.Seek new opportunities to create Synergies internally and externally between quality functions in the Geely Group.

In my previous position, I developed APQP/PPAP strategy, training and standardisation of Quality Management Systems in reference to SQA process flows.I also led a triage function between the New Model Build team for the all new Emira and ensure concerns that are raised are countermeasured in a timely and effective manner.

Development of Purchased Parts Suppliers from Design Trial until Start Of Production. Coordinator of a team of Engineers which each have expertise in Trim, Electrical & Safety Critical components.

● Review and approve 8D reports.● Utilize problem solving techniques to investigate, analyse & cut-off concerns.● Prepare technical reports for internal and external use for a managerial level.● Confirm part design changes during Production Trials.● Use standard measurement tools & methods to verify part dimensions.● Use Engineering Drawings & Data Notes to confirm tolerances and specifications.● Auditing of supplier Standard Operations, Process Flow and Parts Quality Inspection methods.● Represent the company during supplier meetings.● Create Standard Operation Sheets for inspection & rework of parts.

PT1 & PT2 Infiniti Q30 development into Start Of Production which includes:Reviewing Inspection Reports as part of the Parts Submission process. Conducting Source inspections.Incoming parts inspections to Design Notes & Specification Tenders. Issuing Non Conforming Material Action Reports in response to NG parts delivered by suppliers.

● Responsible for maintaining aspects of the site quality management. ● Responding to all customer concerns and warranty issues. ● Conduct Incoming Material, Process, Flash and Final Product audits. ● Feedback manufacturing defects to relevant sub suppliers. ● Produce Quality KPI reports for Management. ● Liaise with PQA Inspection and PQE for production concerns and component trials. ● Train Production staff in correct assembly of products. ● Preparing quality documents for the annual ISO/TS16949 audits, ensuring there are no discrepancies.
