Driven by passion to bring change in his community Mr Christopher Seagateng ventured into youth empowerment at the age of 18 years. A youth activist, writer, artist, innovator and a motivator, Mr Seagateng is the Chairperson of BW Jobs 4 Graduates a youth led Organization which strives to fight unemployment among the youth. He is a young man with 11 years exceptional leadership skills championing youth empowerment, who aspires to be great and strongly believes in hard work and vision-oriented. Mr Seagateng holds BA (Hons) Broadcasting and Journalism from Limkokwing University of Creative Technology and was awarded Industry Award for Excellence, Best in Broadcasting and Journalism upon graduation. He previously worked as the Industry Relations Executive for Limkokwing Entrepreneurship Acceleration Platform (LEAP) for 2 years 6 months. Through his leadership skills Mr Seagateng has championed youth employment initiatives in Botswana through Botswana Jobs for Graduates, where over 20,000 youths got employed and over 50,000 youths are reached weekly since 2012. Having the largest followership of over 500,000 members social vices that are surrounding unemployed youths are also addressed under his leadership. Mr Seagateng was also part of the I AM ABLE campaign, an initiative of Commonwealth Youth Council as part of the research team.
