The ultimate goal of game development, for me, is to create a world. It's what I've built myself towards. Programming is my speciality, yes; it is something I greatly enjoy and provides constant new challenges for me to explore. I've been working with C and C++ for three years, developed two games working with fantastic teams building custom engines from the ground-up, and won one award (Best 2D Physics, DigiPen Game Awards). I've built up my skill to quickly pick up and learn most systems; besides working extensively in graphics and physics, I have experience with artificial intelligence (behaviour trees and state machines, so far), gameplay programming, and engine optimisation. To a lesser extent I have experience with back-end architecture, assembly programming, and parallel programming. I'm also fairly good at debugging, in that I'm usually able to catch bugs fairly quickly even in systems I'm not necessarily familiar with, provided somewhere to start.The breadth of scope makes me really aware of how much more there is still to learn, and I am excited to learn all of it. I hope to one day create a world in a game, something that can live and breathe on its own; a story that can be explored. To do this, I'll need to understand everything I can grasp, so I'll keep learning everything I can.
