During my time working for Amy M. Seger CPA, I have experience filing Individual, Business, Trust, Payroll, and Sales tax returns for mainly high wealth individuals, real estate, construction, and service businesses. Throughout my experience at JBSK CPAS I used Microsoft Office and 365, CCH Engagement, Thomson Reuters ( Practice, Workpaper, e-Forms, Fixed Assets, and Ultra-Tax), Quick books (Online ,Desktop Accountant, and Desktop Enterprise Solutions), T-Value Amortization software, Peachtree briefly, 1099 preparation software, and Adobe Acrobat with PDF Flyer add in. I have had a wide variety of tasks from individual and business bookkeeping, to business sales and use tax filing, as well as business payroll filings (annual, quarter, and monthly), compiling client documents for preparation of annual tax returns, entering client information into software with notes, preparing trial balance and workpaper binder in the case of business income tax returns, communicating issues and missing documents to partner in order to resolve issues on our own if possible or contact the client when needed, updating important workpapers and making notes for reviewer, entering adjusting and Federal Tax journal entries to prepare business trial balances, preparing forms in Ultra Tax for various 1040s, 1120's, 1120S's, 1065, 1041's, and a few 990's, reviewing work for diagnostic and other issues before sending to partner, training new interns on software and systems, small amount of review experience on intern prepared 1040's and 1065's. In my time at JBSK I also have done internal AP/AR functions, various admin system tasks, notarizing documents, software system conversion from CCH Engagement to Workpaper, annual tax season training, and experience with form 1031 exchanges.
