CurrentConsultant to the Philadelphia Water Department in the following capacities:1. Office of Watersheds - Hydraulic and Hydrologic (H&H) Modeling Group 2. Planning and Research Unit - Linear Asset Management Planning (LAMP) supportWork performed is described below:H&H Group:• Performing work directed toward Philadelphia's Green City, Clean Waters plan.o Green City, Clean Waters is Philadelphia's 25-year plan to protect and enhance it's watersheds by managing stormwater with green infrastructure while simultaneously providing tangible social and economic benefits to the city. o Read more about the project here: http://www.phillywatersheds.org/what_were_doing/documents_and_data/cso_long_term_control_plan• Perform calibration and validation of hydrologic model subcatchments using EPA SWMM5.• Quantify rainfall derived inflow/infiltration (RDII) entering the collection system by performing flow separation and wet weather response analyses/R value generation using EPA program SSOAP.• Design Support - Analyze flow monitor data, evaluate model outputs to answer wastewater collection system design/capacity questions or discharge requests.• Perform analyses to quantify the magnitude/recurrence intervals of wet-weather events.• Perform QAQC on model input data, including data from rain gages & NEXRAD, temporary flow monitors, water pollution control plants, NOAA tidal stations, PHL climatological reports, design drawings, return plans, and field survey measurements.LAMP support:• Perform drainage area delineations and wet weather capacity assessments on sewers using ArcGIS and associated python scripts. Review design drawings to find necessary sewer attributes.• Identify sewers that are undersized or otherwise vulnerable to climate change impacts.
