Chris is a seasoned investment professional with over 25 years of experience in commercial real estate, having been involved in numerous high-profile transactions over the course of his career. He has extensive experience in strategic planning, portfolio management, asset management, acquisitions & dispositions, private equity investments, financing, legal, governance, budgeting, and cash flow forecasting for real estate portfolios.Having graduated from Queen’s University with a degree in mechanical engineering, he has a solid analytical and numerical background and is proficient at problem solving and logic. He achieved his CFA designation in 2005 and employs a dynamic combination of math and finance to create results and drive returns. He is highly skilled in financial analysis and has created many proprietary models that have significantly aided in productivity, efficiency, decision making, and value creation.On a personal note, Chris was the Chair of the Board of Directors of the Priory School Foundation in Montreal for 5 years. He has a strong athletic background and is passionate about sports and competition in general. He taught skiing professionally in Whistler for 3 years after college, and although he does not play at quite the same level today, he was a scratch golfer and played on the varsity golf team at Queen’s. Chris has competed in the Canadian Amateur Golf Championship and finished in the top-10 in the Ontario Amateur Golf Championship. His favourite sport is hockey and he has enjoyed playing it for most of his life as well as coaching minor hockey for several seasons.
