I have several years of experience in Full Stack web application development using different technologies like ASP.NET and Spring. My SCRUM team is currently using Java and Spring for building applications to host on Azure of which I am the primary developer for configuring and helping others with pipelines. I have also begun to examine and push the ASP.NET stack with MVC, Razor, and Blazor as potential choices to move our team to after a detailed analysis of the stack's efficiency gains. I use Bootstrap and CSS to style pages, HTML for the core functions, and JavaScript to enhance client UI. I have built several complicated applications and components. A most recent component JS example being a dual window multiselect that uses buttons to move items back and forth. It uses both Java and JavaScript to get user choices and then update the database to save those choices. And, I also have academic experience as I graduated in august 2021 pursuing my second degree in Computer Info Systems. Getting this foundation in programming and the wonderful training offered by @Coder Foundry made me realize that I love this work and I wish I had made the career switch earlier!Despite my focus on technical skills, I still find ways to utilize my previous knowledge in data and analytics since I was in the insurance industry for over 15 years. I spent 10 of those in Human Resources handling employee workforce data and analytics, and I do still enjoy compiling data and presenting that information to the team and management. In addition to my technical and analytical skills, I have skills classified as soft skills like: business communication, leadership, critical thinking, teamwork, and initiative. They come in handy in my current work to lead meetings, pursue new technologies, and provide contributions to my team.Where would this profile be without something quick about me as a person? I am relaxed, love to help people, enjoy fixing things, and creating. I enjoy the outdoors as much as I do sitting in front of a computer all day coding, and I love humor and believe everyone should laugh more. I have been told I am easy to get along with... but I don't see it! (<=Look, I made a funny).I appreciate your time reading this and look forward to a new connection!

Application DeveloperState Of Missouri Sep 2024 - PresentJefferson City, Missouri, United StatesProjects: *MoWaste - Was promoted during this project which was a large multi-year effort built in multiple parts. All of the components combined together using Java, SpringBoot, (.jsp for view pages) and JPA to SQL Server for database handling. I built many of the more complex components and pages (such as creating/viewing PDF files, USPS API integration, and some back end page navigation). I also primarily handle Azure duties for our SCRUM team such as pipeline setup and app service diagnostics in the cloud. -
Associate Application DeveloperState Of Missouri Oct 2021 - Sep 2024Jefferson City, Missouri, United StatesProjects: * MORCRA app - Part of an agile team that redesigned and developed an updated app used for tracking facility and hazardous waste generator information for the state. I helped to update the database SQL calls to use Spring JPA and I worked on updating one of the most complex jsp pages in the project that required multiple conditions and user access controls to be implemented to properly display the page information. I became a point of contact for the Azure cloud to setup and maintain applications.* Onboarding App - Part of an agile team that designed, developed, and implemented an internal ap for new hire information. After creation on a local Tomcat server, we moved the app to the cloud using Azure services. I built .jsp pages for login and main page information (both back end and front end), and I modified the home page to show a checklist completion % that used the SQL database to calculate the progress of each checklist independently.*MoWaste - Large application built in multiple parts all combined together using Java, SpringBoot, with .jsp for front end pages and JPA to SQL Server for database handling. I built many of the more complex pages, handled some of the inter app navigation, and ensured everything posted to and was hosted by Azure successfully. -
