Continuing my role as a design engineer, I moved into our business development team. In this role I was tasked to assist the team with all the necessary Cad models and technical drawings. Working with tight deadlines and assessing customer requirements to produce high level solutions at competitive prices.

Once my apprenticeship was complete I was placed into the Hydraulic Test Department where I was tasked with carrying out complex hydraulic and mechanical tests on our range of equipments. This would involve being competent at working as part of a team or alone on challenging conditions at times. I also gained the responsibility to present out Factory Acceptance Tests to our customers.

I began my apprenticeship full time at collage then moved on to day release gaining knowledge in the workplace.During this time I gained experience in the basic skills involved in machining, mechanical fitting, hydraulic and mechanical testing, technical drawing and CAD software. I was also located off site at Rosyth Dockyard and gained valuable experiences assisting in the installation of our equipment on ships.
