As a current Geology major at DePauw University, I am interested in Environmental Consulting and field work. I contributed to a group project analyzing the presence of heavy metals in soils on and near the DePauw campus. I also recently conducted petrologic research on volcanic rocks from Iceland. I will present this research at the Geologic Society of America in October, 2022.I am currently an executive member for the Beta Beta Chapter of Sigma Nu at DePauw University, and I guide fellow members with increasing the growth of our chapter. Previously I served as the Treasurer and I am the current Vice President. I contribute both institutional knowledge and contribute to event planning. Event planning contributions include developing event ideas, creating a task list, and contacting vendors. I also assist the Recruitment Officer with providing recruitment knowledge to the Chapter and guiding other members to contribute to our recruitment needs.Additionally, I am a full-time Email Representative at Caleres, Inc. I am also interested in pursuing higher opportunities in corporate (either in the retail or finance industries). I consistently exceed expectations with monthly and quarterly metrics.Awards and grants received: DePauw Music Performance Award - $12,500 each semester. DePauw Department of Geosciences Ernest Rice (Rock) Smith Scholarship - $950. DePauw in Nice, France 2022 Trulaske Travel Grant - $1,120. DePauw Joann V. White School of Music Scholarship - $4,478.
