At Halas Engineering I participate in a variety of projects preparing structural engineering calculations, generating construction plans and organizing/researching code and zoning information critical to project goals. I participate in client meetings and site visits/inspections. Shifting and urgent deadlines require expert time management and proactive.

As Staff Engineer I worked closely with senior engineers to produce structural calculations for a variety of projects. Calculations were performed in accordance with current IBC and ASCE code requirements. Where required, I performed software analysis. As a Designer, I was responsible for designing and drafting concrete shoring and forming construction plans utilizing manufactured steel and aluminum beams and scaffold frames. I worked as a CDI Technical Services contracted Drafter for Georgia Power. Working within a team of Drafters I created, corrected, and updated electrical power line maps using a tailored version of AutoCAD 14 software in conjunction with a digitizer.
