In this role I supported the strategic development of Climate Outreach and leading the development of the portfolio of research and knowledge generation. I will lead our team of researchers and technical experts on social sciences, communication, visuals and media to advance our knowledge of how best to build people-centred responses to climate change.

I am contracted to write a report as part of the 'Climate Change as a Complex Social Issue' project, analysing the discourses of international climate policy institutions, mapping how the rhetorical devices and metaphors employed in these discourses have evolved in the period 1992-2012.

I am involved in researching and report writing for the 'Participate- Voices from the margins for post-2015 project. The work involves literature reviews, collating evidence of effective participatory research programmes, analysing the data, creating meat-narratives in writing workshops from the data and producing reports for members of high level panels, examining policy trajectories for development post 2015.

Worked with Adrian Smith and Florian Kern to produce a background report for the Politics of Low Carbon Innovation project, using niche theory to examine how discourse has shaped the building and dissolution of a protective space for CCS technologies in the UK

Designed, organised and carried out a research programme based in-depth interviews with forty fire fighters from East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service designed to elicit perceptions of changes to working practices.
