The Director for Instructor services Europe is responsible for the effective development and management of those identified Global Professional Instructors (GPI) in delivering all aspects of Instructor training. This will involve taking an over view of all planned delivery events both open and on site. There will be a focus on the assessment, development and support of those GPI’s involved in delivering Instructor events. I will also be involved in a customer facing role primarily in supporting existing customers and tendering/presenting to potential new customers.

Europe

The Global Professional Manager is responsible for the effective development and management of assigned Global Professional Instructors . My focus is on the assessment & development of GPI, partner with Account Managers and Instructor regarding the delivery of onsite assignments and provide an additional layer of communication for the Instructor and other departments within the organization. I also continue to deliver assigned open and onsite programmes.

Europe

Full-time Professional Staff Instructor, training Nonviolent Crisis Intervention. The cornerstone of CPI since 1980, this program is considered the worldwide standard for crisis prevention and intervention training. With a core philosophy of providing for the Care, Welfare, Safety, and Security of everyone involved in a crisis situation, the program’s proven strategies give human service providers and educators the skills to safely and effectively respond to anxious, hostile, or violent behaviour while balancing the responsibilities of care. I also teach advanced programmes in Enhancing Verbal Skills, Autistic Spectrum Disorders, both of which build on the core competencies of the above programme. I also teach Clinical Holding Skills, a programme designed to manage behaviours and keep safe in clinical and treatment environments, in relation to vital medical treatments.

South Tipperary

Established by the Dept. of Justice, Equality and Law Reform, I was employed to develop a co-ordinated strategy for quality childcare in the county, assist the prioritisation of funding. Focus on the increase and supply of quality childcare services and facilities in the County.

Waterford

I was promoted to National Projects Co-ordinator responsible for 12 staff supervisors and in-turn 127 employees in the areas of Childcare, Pre-school, After schools, Homework Clubs, etc..A major part of this position is planning and overseeing the development of child services nationality. Responsible for overseeing a budget of 1.4 €million. Also managing a team of childcare staff employed under grants from the Dept. of Justice, Equality and Law Reform, 54 staff in total. This role also included working closely with many other agencies, i.e., HSE, A.D.M., FáS, Vocational Education Committee, etc..I reported to the Board of Management with Bi-monthly reports and work schedules

South East Ireland

I worked as the Area Co-ordinator for Tipperary and Cork. Responsibilities included, Supporting Estate Management Teams, housing assessments, over seeing estate budgets, applying for Government and Voluntary Agencies grants for equipment and training. I provided support and training for Estate Management Teams. Worked while in this position with many other Voluntary / Statutory / and Private Agencies while providing education, development and consultancy during development of services.

Clonmel

This is a Training Workshop catering for young adults, aged between fifteen and twenty years of age. While working as a skills teacher, I also provided Social skills training and one to one counselling, sports (kayaking, mountaineering,) etc.. I organised several foreign Trips and exchanges with other workshops.
