The Associate Vice President for Student Affairs and Institutional Effectiveness promotes university and student success through the effective leadership, strategic direction, policy development, and oversight for areas encompassing student affairs and institutional effectiveness.

• Led the University strategic planning process through collaboration with faculty, deans, directors, associate VPs and vice presidents• Ensured institutional effectiveness through the collection and analysis of assessment data in academic and co-curricular programs and determine outcomes-based recommendations for improvement• Translated institutional vision, goals and priorities into a tactical facilities plan that achieves strategic goals, including building and infrastructure management and renewal, enhancements to the residential and learning environments and the efficiency, connectivity, and vitality of the campus• Translated broad institutional vision and goals into a tactical institutional research plan, using data to shape and support university strategic and aspirational goals• Coordinated university accreditation efforts with programmatic accreditors and serve as Accreditation Liaison Officer to the Middle States Commission on Higher Education

• Oversaw monitoring of university policy in relation to Title IX law developments; implementation of grievance procedures, including notification, investigation and disposition of complaints• Coordinated and conduct Title IX training and educational initiatives, including brochures, posters, web-based materials and presentations that inform members of the campus community of Title IX rights and responsibilities• Trained staff responsible for implementing grievance procedures• Coordinated and monitor Title IX efforts of Deputy Coordinators and University offices that receive and/or investigate complaints, including but not limited to Human Resources, Student Affairs and Athletics• Organized and maintain grievance files, disposition reports, and other compiled records regarding complaints of sexual harassment and other discriminatory practices, including annual descriptive reports of number and nature of filed complaints and disposition of complaints• Remained knowledgeable of current state and federal law and regulations and trends in the field of education related to harassment and other discriminatory practices that violate Title IX• Maintained professional qualification through ongoing training and professional development from accredited training programs• Monitored University Harassment policy and procedures to ensure compliance with state and federal law and regulation• Served as a liaison officer to state and federal government compliance or investigation officers
