Current projects include the migration of 145+ databases from Solaris to LinuxBefore joining SRNS, I spent over 3 years as an Oracle RAC/SQLServer DBA Manager at Assetpoint. Performed numerous database upgrades, improved AssetPoint’s Disaster Recovery Process, performed Oracle RAC Tuning and Oracle to SQL Server Database Migrations including an Oracle11g RAC to12c RAC Migration - hardware, OS & SAN upgrade. MSSQL Active/Active Cluster hardware,OS & SAN migration.Before joining AssetPoint I spent over 12 years working as a consultant for Colibri Limited. Currently, I serve as a Senior Oracle DBA/Team Lead, leading a team of 9 Oracle DBAs and 2 PeopleSoft Security personnel. The Oracle DBA Team is responsible for maintaining over 145 Oracle databases that support the DOE/NNSA Site’s 100+ Business, Operational, and Business Intelligence systems. During my 8+ year tenure at SRNS, I have participated in and/or managed multiple RDBMS upgrades, OS platform migrations, Oracle RAC implementations, made process improvements to our backup and recovery strategies as well as monitoring and maintenance procedures. I also serve as the primary Operations Oracle DBA responsible for maintaining DOE classified systems running on Oracle.
