Served as the Interim Chief Information Security Officer for the agency, cooperating with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, the Social Security Administration, and the Office of the State Auditor for annual audits. Was responsible for daily monitoring of the agency’s environment across tools made available through Azure GCC; in conjunction with AT&T’s SITH Team and AlienVault USM Anywhere. Worked directly with the agency’s Microsoft Senior CSAM to pull in necessary resources to ensure bleeding-edge technologies made available through the agency’s licensing were leveraged to full potential to solidify the agency’s security and compliance posture, striving for a Zero-Trust configuration. Was responsible for Content Searches and eDiscovery for internal investigations, the Division of Medicaid’s Office of Legal, as well as the Office of the Attorney General. Responsible for the development and management of external file sharing infrastructure using Identity Governance and SharePoint for procurements, audits, and provider communication. Project Sponsor for Security Modernization efforts within the agency, including the deployment of Fortigate firewalls, Archer SaaS GRC, as well as the development of a comprehensive BC/DR Plan for the agency.Instrumental in the migration of the agency’s infrastructure to a modern, cloud-based environment in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. Worked in conjunction with Microsoft to build and refine device management for over 800 machines via Microsoft Endpoint Manager; while participating in an agency-wide hardware refresh to deploy cloud-managed devices to ensure the agency could continue to provide quality care to vulnerable Mississippians remotely through the global health crisis. Responsible for escalated Help Desk work orders, including familiarizing executives, department supervisors, and regional office employees with technologies such as Microsoft RDS, Office 365, and Multi-Factor Authentication.

Worked directly with the Director of Web Services, Web Development Team, and various other executive representatives of the University on a multitude of web projects. Most notably, I played in instrumental role in migrating from Druple 6 to Druple 8 for the University's official website.
