Muscat, Masqaţ, Oman

Providing digital procurement expertise to the General Secretariat of the Tender Board (GTSB) in Oman for the digitisation of their procurement lifecycle through user-centred design and development using agile practices. Helping them to create a new multidisciplinary internal team, embed new working practices and through this develop an upgraded ESNAD system. This project is ongoing and has a mix of civil servants and suppliers in a collaborative team.

Working as an independent consultant, I was asked to complete an audit of the internal processes of an organisation for their tender bids for Crown commercial Service, Digital Marketplace submissions to try and increase their success rate. Reviewing past submissions and evaluating the internal processes in place, alongside working on their submission bids on 6 ongoing tenders and providing a report on findings. Success was shown by the increased success rate for the 6 submissions, where 5 contracts were won.
