I am honored to be part of the leadership team that protects the Magic. I am excited to mentor and develop talent from all walks of life. I have the opportunity to meet guests from all over the world and help ensure they have a memorable and magical vacation.

Walt Disney World is the premier destination for entertainment and where dreams do come true. Protecting the magic is taken seriously for our guests and cast members. As a security host I use technology and learned skills to keep our guests and cast safe while they enjoy our many entertainment and resort options.

After a humbling and amazing career I decided to retire from the Kansas City, MO Police Department. I was asked if I would change anything and looking back I cannot think of any major thing I would change or give up. I was honored to have been chosen by the department in 1991 and am proud of my service and even more proud of those with whom I served.

Assistant Division Commander for the Kansas City Police Crime Lab and Commander of the Evidence Collection Unit (Crime Scene).

Commander of the KCPD Employment Unit. Oversee the recruiting unit, polygraph and background investigators, off-duty employment coordinator and the discipline administration sergeant. One of the department sUAS (drone) operators for critical incident management.

The City DRC reviews all new development (business and residential) plans. The DRC recommends approval or disapproval of said plans to the City Council. DRC is charged with upholding city code and making other recommendations to projects as needed.

Commander of Communications UnitOversaw the 9-1-1 Call-takers, police dispatchers, training office and supervision team (91 members in total). Police representative for some circumstances at the city Emergency Operations Center. Worked with the members of the Mid-America Regional Council on Public Safety Communications Issues.

Assistant Division CommanderWorked as Watch Commander for W-I (2300-0500 hours) at the South Patrol Division Station. Command of the officers and field sergeants for the watch. Handled critical incidents and major crime scenes. Rotated duty with other captains as the city-wide duty officer responsible for handling incidents in the city, regardless of patrol division boundary.
