The APML team is on the edge of hardware and software, and working there gave me a *lot* of opportunity to gain more in-depth knowledge about both.

I was team lead for a semester long iPhone app development project with a team consisting of 4 coders and 2 art team members. Our goal was to create a replacement app for the default iPhone calendar aimed specifically at students.
University Of Houston
This was a team project for my database class at University of Houston. We were implementing the back-end database that would store the data to be used by the front-end Software Engineering web application (a package delivery service's website). My job was to help integrate the different parts of the project when they were completed, and to help keep up project documentation.I also helped to write some queries to display data from some of the tables. The technology used for that was MySQL - specifically, through WampServer and phpMyAdmin
