(for over 26 years now - January 1989 to present) A brief summary of my current responsibilities are as follows: Generate and update (as / if needed) calculator programs on the programmable / graphics calculator so as to calculate and maintain soap and coolant concentration levels on the machines and parts washers via adding water, soap, coolant, etc...., in correct quantities per these calculator programs. This is to maintain nominal levels / concentrations and to document all this regularly (e.g. daily logs).Make new coolant and soap solutions as needed.Inform Quality Assurance Lab if parts are near cleanliness failure - as when being cleaned in the parts washers - before they fail per my generated engineering standards so as to coordinate authorization of changing the dirty soap solution to a clean solution.Help quality assurance lab out with the statistics and data entry on occasion to help maintain high quality machined products.Responsible for general shop cleanliness and a good orderly shop appearance (e.g. clean restrooms, remove garbage, etc.). Secure / maintain proper OSHA labels on fluid bottles / containers.Continue to see if there are other areas (like I did when generating the engineering standards for the soaps in the parts washers at Neosho Trompler via a 21 page engineering / math / calculus document) I can apply my engineering skills so as to save Neosho Trompler even more time and money.
