From St. Stephen's House, placements in local psychiatric hospital (Littlemore), and a psychiatric day unit the following year. Placement at the prison chaplaincy, HMP Feltham (at the time, a youth custody facility.Formerly: ordained cleric in the Church of England. Parishes: Christ Church, Carnforth, Dioc. of Blackburn. Holy Trinity, Leytonstone, London E11, Dioc. of Chelmsford. Redruth Group, Cornwall, Dioc. of Truro. All the foregoing appointments as a member of the Company of Mission Priests ( annually renewed promises of celibacy, common life, and sharing of resources). Pastoral experience included work with young people: in Carnforth a youth club, ages 8-18, approx. 70 members. Teaching top year class in the parish primary school. Leytonstone, and Truro shared chaplaincy in psycho-geriatric units. Leytonstone: started a children's project ("Latch-Key" club, meeting on Saturdays), and became a member of a Housing Action Trust tenants' panel, to provide independent observations for the tenants. Received into full communion with the Catholic Church. Resident (Noviciate) Benedictine monastery, Buckfast, Devon. First serious episode of depression. Study at Allen Hall seminary for the Arch-diocese of Westminster. Withdrawal from selection process due to treatment for depressive condition. Taught in secondary schools 2005 - 2018 (London Oratory School, NWET Trust-Nonsuch Girls,' Cheam, and Wallington High. Our Lady's Catholic Independent, Abingdon). In 2018, retirement following surgery to remove a cancerous tumor. As at 20/01/2023, following further investigations into certain symptoms, nothing sinister has been discovered, and I remain under specialist care for the present time. Charities supported: Cancer Research UK, Water Aid, Medecins Sans Frontieres.
