Oversaw certification training of all public safety bomb technicians in the USA for Hazardous Devices School (HDS). Planned, allocated, organized and tracked workflow / logistics for each fiscal year's use of budgetary funds. Guide and coach multidisciplinary team of intelligence analysts, logistics managers, facilities managers, electronics technicians and IT specialists during challenging transition of school control from Department of the Army to the FBI. Provided leadership, training and coaching to 4-7 government employees and provided indirect oversight to 15 contracted instructors. • Served as Acting Director of HDS following retirement of previous Director.• Successfully guided team of 15 in comprehensive review and update of 240 hours of curriculum, predominantly while teleworking within a COVID-19 environment.• Orchestrated transition of 40 hours of lecture training to online Blackboard platform in less than four months in fiscal year 2020 in order to further increase student throughput in fiscal year 2021.• Drove planning and coordination of purchase of six new response vehicles in fiscal years 2016 and 2019 for $1M+, and six new bomb disposal robots in fiscal year 2016 for $1.9M.• Led development and implementation of new web-based IT system for registering and tracking• Steered design and composition of 24 hours of combined lecture and practical training for instructing law enforcement executives on how to effectively manage their bomb squads.• Skillfully led certification-training of 878 bomb technicians from October 2018 through July 2021.• Championed major changes to certification-training program to increase student throughput from 256 students per year to 428 students per year.• Volunteered to travel to Africa to provide two weeks of IED response training to police officers from Chad, Niger, Cameroon and Nigeria in 2017, and to the Philippines in 2018 to help the Philippines National Police design a Bomb Technician Re-certification Course.

Led operations of Crisis Management, Special Events and Continuity of Operations teams. Leveraged extensive list of contacts in local and state governmental agencies, the business community and federal government agencies to gain support and secure information for investigations. Led responses to suspected improvised explosive devices (IED). ** As Adjunct Faculty for FBI Training Division, delivered multiple types of training to a mix of state, local and federal law officers and commercial businesses with total student count of well over 3,000. ** Challenged with leading Birmingham Division's prep for mandatory Mall Active Shooter exercise; arranged use of largest shopping mall in Birmingham, led 22 meetings, and coordinated preparation of 13 separate agencies in six weeks to prepare for exercise; 154 individuals successfully participated. ** Honored with Sustained Exceptional Performance award for contributions as Crisis Management Coordinator in preparing division for five-year requirement to participate in a Full Scale Exercise). ** Following two multi-year investigations, disrupted activities of two suspected domestic extremists; obtained and destroyed 62 pounds of explosive precursor chemicals, as well as pipes and fuse. ** Identified and rapidly resolved issue with lack of Command Post support for two large arrest and search warrant operations; contacted Assistant Special Agent in Charge and volunteered to stand up a CP to track situational awareness for both operations. ** Restructured and rewrote Crisis Management Response plan and proved validity of changes made through exercise and operational use of CP on multiple occasions. ** As Special Events Program Coordinator, planned and coordinated FBI support for special events such as the Talladega 500, UA Football Season and annual Civil Rights celebrations.

Served as Special Agent assigned to investigate international and domestic terrorism, environmental crimes, organized crime and drug crimes. Served as Special Agent Bomb Technician (SABT) Program Coordinator responsible for Colorado and Wyoming. Provide training to 20 bomb squads, planned for and oversaw all bomb technician support for high-profile special events, and led responses to numerous suspected IED incidents. ** Served as Evidence Response Team Member in leading four-member team in multiple crime scene searches including homicides, bank robberies, drug offenses and white-collar crime. ** Selected as Case Agent on two multi-year investigations that entailed daily leadership, planning and coordination, and communications with teams of investigators; received numerous awards for actions in these cases. ** Assigned as one of three co-chairs of Explosive Device Mitigation (EDM) Sub-Committee for 2008 Democratic National Convention (DNC); after discovering numerous training shortfalls, designed and led an aggressive training program for Bomb Technicians and Investigators; no explosives events occurred during DNC as a result. ** Instrumental in interdiction of two deadly terrorist attacks, and to the arrest and conviction of one individual and the exit from the country of another. ** Volunteered for a dangerous overseas deployment to Combined Explosives Exploitation Cell (CEXC) at Camp Victory in Iraq in 2006 to conduct post-blast investigations.

As a Special Agent assigned to Eglin Air Force Base I conducted investigations of violent crimes, drug crimes, suicides, homicides and white collar crimes.

I served as a Missile Combat Crew Member in the 564th Missile Squadron, Malmstrom where I ultimately obtained the position of Flight Commander.
