Dr. Chris Slack joined Grapevine Psychology from Texas Woman's University where he earned his Master’s and Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology.Dr. Slack has considerable experience working with survivors of trauma, young adults, LGBTQ+ identity development, and issues with anxiety and depression. Dr. Slack's professional interests include Ally and activist identity development, intimate partner violence, trauma recovery, addiction/substance abuse recovery, feminist therapy approaches, and liberation psychology. Outside of his role as a psychologist, Dr. Slack enjoys the outdoors, strength training, fostering animals from the shelter, and spending time with his four cats (Forest, Finn, Axel, and Luna) and his dog, Wheezy!
