I was a part-time sales assistant at Tommy Hilfiger since 2012, and was made a temporary supervisor, August 2015. I managed a medium sized team, making sure that each staff member was always putting the customer first and no one was standing around. We went through a major change in our store, both management and company ownership, and I feel, being a part of this process has given me a clearer insight into change and how to adapt appropriately to the circumstances. I was also required to give 100 percent customer service, ensuring customers experienced a luxury visit to our store and their shopping needs were fulfilled. Operating tills, which included excessive amounts at certain times of the year, needed to be a smooth process avoiding any complications, whilst providing the customer with a swift transaction. Store quality is a necessity in Tommy Hilfiger, therefore part of my responsibility was to make the store look pristine. I helped with deliveries and storing the stock away until it was required. Office work was essential as it was our way of keeping track of targets and progress throughout our store and others.
