I currently have full responsibility and accountability for technology and department budget, while providing expertise in problem solving, support, and issue resolution under strict deadlines. I am responsible for implementing and managing Microsoft Intune remote endpoint security, moving entire organization to mobile devices and docking stations, resulting in remote security and management. I also established Mobile Application Infrastructure, configuring Development and Production environment in Azure, utilizing technologies such as Azure App Service, Linux, PostgreSQL, Redis Cache, and Elastic Search.I designed and implemented Azure Networking using spoke and hub architecture, created Hybrid Active Directory, migrating Exchange services and SharePoint functionality to Microsoft 365, and implemented a new Datacenter encompassing SAN, Networking, Servers, and mainframe functionality. Additionally, I migrated existing services from on-site to datacenter with zero downtime or interruption of services, moved DNS from a third party to Azure and VOIP to Microsoft Teams, and engaged new internet service provider to replace legacy provider, achieving substantial cost savings with no disruption of service.

In this role, I implemented and managed storage area network (SAN) architecture for HP 3Par SAN storage technology, including mainframe and Windows based storage disks, utilizing data tiering and adaptive optimization and multiple path fiber channel connectivity. I also negotiated with vendors to achieve significant hardware and licensing cost savings, and developed a client database for MLSSoccer.com that drives historical statistics, performed SQL Server DB Replication and site to site VPN with AWS.Additionally, I installed and managed Network Load Balanced web cluster to increase uptime and availability for company hosted web and ftp sites, implemented off-site disaster recovery and managed / monitored threat protection service, in addition to modern backup architecture, utilizing volume snapshot, and enabling cloud based off site storage as well as long term storage retention using tape drive.

As a Sr. Systems Analyst, I played an integral role in securing official statistician contract with Major League Soccer, and developed web based play-by-play entry system, enabling MLS League personnel to enter games on the accessElias site. I was also a key contributor in solidifying NBC contract, implemented new interface protocols for communication such as Webservices allowing communication back to Elias from remote sites.I designed and developed database schema, and data feed ingest routines, for MLB, PGA, MLS, NCAA football and basketball, developed client XML data feed validation and integrity checking system utilizing XSD schema validation to identify data integrity errors prior to reaching clients and enhance reliability and uptime, and managed the Avaya PBX phone system migration from AT&T Merlin.

In this role, I developed www.accessElias.com, the first client portal for statistical research with dynamic querying capabilities, utilized by MLB, NBA, NHL, NFL, and EGL, and leading to securing a major contract with ESPN. I also implemented and managed Microsoft Exchange Server as the first non-mainframe email system, and created the first network security plan, including the installation and configuration of the first state inspection firewall, as well as the first program for EGL to interface with the Chyron graphics generator for televised statistical content.
