At The Fish People Cafe I assisted the manager reinvigorate a struggling restaurant andI am confident saying that we managed to bring the restaurant back to its prime. Due tothe small team size and my willingness to assist the manager I was responsible for a lotof extra duties that someone in my position would not normally be party to. In 2018,2019 and 2020 I worked with Keystone Environmental as a seasonal assistant ecologist(Lead assistant for 2019 and 2020) tasked with recording and relocating newts, frogsand reptiles (with a particular focus on Great Crested Newts) as part of a majorinfrastructure project. I also provided Ecological Clerk of Works coverage, badgercamera trap maintenance and some more general health and safety coverage for firstvisit site assessments. I have spent the majority of my working experience in acustomer services role in both the hospitality and retail sectors. My experience in bothroles have allowed me to participate and lead groups as well as training sessions fornew members of staff. I have worked as a part of teams where cooperation andcoordination are key to maintaining the standards that the business demands. I am alsocapable of working independently for long periods of time where completing yourassignment requires constant focus and pacing.
