I approached Reel Appeal Ltd Whilst working for a previous company after a brief meeting with the managing director, i saw the potential and offered my services which were quickly taken up, I started as a machine operator then progressed to the supervisor , I was directly involved in the produce of labels from printed media using various die cutting machines which were to include laminating, spot/pattern varnishing to produce peel and reveal labels, label rewinders, flexographic machinery etc Reel Appeal Ltd is a fantastic company with some fantastic directors, unfortunately due to a change in direction I left on good terms with the managing director.

I initially started at bar code data ltd after my previous company relocated, i started after a brief meeting at my previous company where a conversation starting regarding a machine repair, my first duties were to include converting labels from blank media using various die cutting machines, raising purchase orders via sage, using the flt to load / unload products. I also trained using various bar code software to design and print barcodes for some very well known companies

i initially started at alphatec as a helping hand with regards to despatch and after passing my driving licence in Jan 1996 began to deliver their products throughout the UK, I progressed to machine operator shortly afterwards, before long I became the production manager which involved all aspects of the label manufacturing process, unfortunately the company relocated to Wales,
