I am responsible for overseeing a team of operators, ensuring all daily operational tasks from load out to re spooling from the shore side carousel to vessel carousel or from under rollers to vessel, ensuring at all times that duties are completed to an extremely high standard while Health & Safety is constantly observed also communicating closely with the vessel. I am responsible for setting up and running tensioners, under rollers winches and drum stands to take 9.2 reels and larger if needed. At JDR we also have 45 tonne stands & 70 tonne stands for smaller drums and the setting up of track- ways for the re spooling of the cables to the vessels. My role also involves completing Risk Assessments, method statements, the monitoring of the cable while in operation ensuring customer specification is adhered to by closely following drawings, cable repairs if required, tool box talks before each operation port side, in depth completing of reports and paperwork for handovers. Experience of trouble shooting at short notice working to promote high standards in existing Company facilities in various parts of the Country.Qualifications inc : IOSH, OPITO stage 1, Banksman, B3 Forklift license, NVQ inTeam leading, Du Pont Stop trained, Manual Handling, Abrasive Wheels, Slinger & Signaller.
