Chris Smith is the Sr. Director & CFO for UT Le Bonheur Pediatric Specialists (ULPS). ULPS is a partnership between The University of Tennessee Health Science Center and Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital. ULPS consists of over 200 pediatric specialists in 20 specialties. Chris is responsible for financial oversight for ULPS including budgeting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and other financial functions related to ULPS clinics. Chris formerly served as the Director of Finance and Director of the Research Laboratory Operations in Methodist LeBonheur Healthcare’s Children's Foundation Research Institute (CFRI) and Methodist Office of Research Administration (MORA). Chris provided financial management for Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare’s Research Division. Chris also oversaw coordination in research laboratory operations with principal investigators to ensure efficiency and optimal results from the research labs at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital. Chris has been with Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare since 2009.
