I am a PhD Computer Science researcher at the University of Calgary with a focus on human computer interaction and virtual reality. I have experience in Python, C++, Java, and assembly, as well as systems such as Unreal Engine, OpenGL, PhysX, and Android Studio. These skills have allowed me to create a full 3D driving game from the ground up, a fully rendered and accurate intractable orrery of the solar system, and two android apps for personal growth. In addition to technical skills, I have experience with leadership, planning, and execution of projects from start to finish from multiple self driven research projects during my master's thesis. I have a strong skill set in communicating technical and complex topics to non-experts developed through my work at the University of Calgary IT centre providing front-line support, working one-on-one with a master's of arts student teaching them to create augmented reality phone applications, and providing tutorial lectures for courses such as computer science for non majors and introduction to human computer interaction.
