AINDT Level 2 MT(Multi-Sector)/PT(Multi-Sector)/UT(Welds) Currently working from Bureau Veritas’ Cardiff office servicing the needs of clients in the local area with non-destructive examination of machinery components, welds, castings, forgings and various other assemblies to various nominated standards. Previous experience and major project involvement involve*Responsible for testing and compliance of the thermit welds in the Newcastle Light Rail Network rollout using ultrasonic techniques. *Involvement in major maintenance turnarounds and scheduled routine maintenance at various sites including chemical plants, paper mills, manufacturing plants and bulk material storage and handling facilities.*Continuous rail scanning using automated ultrasonic techniques for track compliance and defect mapping. *Extensive experience in workshop settings with the need to work independently, following weld maps/requests and identify non conforming items.
