Sifu Chris is currently the head Wushu coach at the Chinese Collective Arts Association. He has competed at the national and international levels in both Tai-Chi Chuan and Modern Competitive Wushu.As a student of Master Helen Wu, he won the bronze all round grand championship at the 2000 Taste of China International Tai Chi Competitions in Virginia. In addition to studying Chen, Yang and Sun styles of Tai Chi Quan, he also studied traditional martial art forms such as Whip Stick, Green Dragon Sword, Tan Tui, Cha Quan, Tong-Bei Quan, 8 Immortal Sword, and Xing Yi Quan under Master Helen Wu, Master Simon Hu and Master Jack Yan.At the age of 14 he began his training in competition Wushu under Sifu Wayland Li. He started his Wushu training specializing first in Long Fist, Broad Sword and Staff. He has won medals in both local and international competitions held in Canada and the USA.
