Started at UBS in London in ETD client cash margins with particular responsibilities for vendor management and the outsourcing of certain tasks. Used these experiences to drive ETD collateral process enhancements in Zurich, with additional heavy involvement in the settlement of securities transfers for internal stakeholders as well as external clients. Switched focus to OTC collateral and became very familiar with ISDA CSA's and their German and Swiss equivalents by taking an active role in every aspect of OTC collateral management, including margin calls, interest, static data setups, reconciliations and risk reporting. Outsourced 85% of the OTC collateral management workload, prompting a team merger and cross-training on SBL collateral management. Involvement in projects analysing the potential impacts of new EMIR and FinfraG regulations.
