Christopher Sorenson is a trial attorney, with substantial practice experience in intellectual property litigation, focusing primarily on patent infringement actions. Mr. Sorenson has represented patent holders and accused infringers in patent disputes involving internet method patents, precision fluid pumps, injection molded polycarbonate sunglass lenses, pharmaceutical compositions, electronic fuel injected two-stroke engines, air restriction indicators, load weighing software for surface mining machines, and dog toys. In recent years, Mr. Sorenson has focused his practice on ANDA litigation, which involves patent disputes over various prescription drugs and the efforts of generic manufacturers to come to the market under the provisions of the Hatch-Waxman Act. Mr. Sorenson is the proud father of four beautiful children, and considers himself an avid (but relatively unsuccessful) fisherman.

While at Robins, Kaplan, Christopher represented both patent holders and accused infringers in matters that spanned several areas of technology, from pharmaceutical vitamin combinations to electronic fuel injection systems for two-stroke internal combustion engines. He was integrally involved in the strategic planning and effective execution of all litigation strategies, including taking and defending countless depositions across the nation. In 2004, he co-tried a patent case involving air restriction indicators to verdict, a two week trial.
