Christopher Sorenson is an experienced trial attorney in various technology fields. His goal is not only to solve his clients' immediate, pressing problems, but to develop long-term relationships, getting to know his clients' businesses so he can meet their needs strategically and proactively, rather than reactively. From 1996 to 2000, he focused heavily on commercial litigation matters with an emphasis on prosecuting product liability actions, including several jury trials, in several different state and federal court actions. In 2000, he moved to the law firm of Robins, Kaplan, Miller & Ceresi, where he focused exclusively on patent litigation. Chris represented both patent holders and accused infringers in areas of art including pharmaceutical vitamin combinations, ectronic fuel injection systems for two-stroke internal combustion engines. In 2004, he co-tried a patent case involving air restriction indicators to verdict, a two week trial. In 2004, Chris moved to Merchant & Gould, and continued to focus his practice on high technology and patent litigation matters. Chris co-represented Retek, Inc. in a private arbitration that culminated nearly in four weeks of testimony and evidence presentation before the panel. He also represented Express Scripts, Inc. in another private arbitration concerning prescription drug adjudication systems and pharmaceutical rebate contracting, also culminating in nearly four weeks of witness testimony.
