I work closely with the clinical specialty leads and Research Delivery Managers to ensure that the available national portfolio of trials is reviewed and considered for delivery within the NIHR CRN: North Thames. I will provide input into the overall processes of the LCRN ensuring that all divisions function in a consistent and collaborative manner, ensuring that required study activities are coordinated and performance managed effectively across sites within the LCRN division. I ensure all governance and regulatory requirements are met and that all the necessary discussions with the host trust and other stakeholders are concluded satisfactory prior to site approval-  New and ongoing portfolio research is set up and managed to the highest standards in a timely manner and to agreed levels of patient recruitment.-  Studies are assessed for feasibility in a timely fashion at all potential sites within the LCRN boundaries, appropriate recruitment targets are agreed with the local research teams, the LCRN and sponsor and that the studies deliver to these targets.-  Potential barriers to research are Identify and escalate

Cancer Trials Center

Data Manager in the Haematology group, Cancer Research UK and University College London Cancer Trials CentreI was the Data Manager for a number of Phase II and III multicentre clinical trials involving IMPs, radiotherapy, imaging and nuclear medicine. I oversaw the timely collection of data from trial sitesand accurately entered this on the trial database, returning any discrepancies to research staff.I coordinated the central review of pathology samples and managed the submission of blood samples for central analysis. I set up efficient process for tracking both of these which helped maintain our high compliance rates.I worked with the Trial Coordinator and Senior Data Manager to design new Case Report Forms ensuring all the required data to answer the trial endpoints were collected and subsequently tested the new trial databases.
