I've had the opportunity to attend a wonderful higher education institution and overcome many personal and environmental hardships to graduate with a degree in Biology with an area of study in Aquaculture & Aquarium Sciences. A lot of hands on learning and experience on the South Coast of Maine as well as in the University of New England Recirculating Aquaculture Systems facility and at the Saco Salmon Restoration & Hatchery was a wonderful opportunity. With the skills taught to me by many prestigious professors, I graduated with a large range of microscopy skills at the cellular and molecular level, conservation biology skills, and most knowledge and skill required in the field of Aquaculture & Aquarium Sciences. I plan on working towards many AALSO certifications as well as potentially returning to schooling for a master's degree in either Biology or Aquaculture. I am not afraid to get my hands dirty, take initiative, make mistakes, and keep learning to better myself in my field.
