I support dentists to help them be more profitable by assisting them to maximize their revenue, use strategies to grow their business and help them achieve best in class discounts and customer service with dental suppliers & labs.

-Negotiated over 50 payor contracts resulting in over $1.5 Million in projected revenue growth with existing & new Payor contracts. -Negotiate Payor contracts for commercial, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, TriCare, VA Administration and correctional payor’s for both medical & vision payors for physicians & surgery centers. -Head of Contracting Department and Credentialing Department for 210 vision physicians in CA, CO, IL, MD, DE, VA, FL & Washington D.C. at over 80 locations.-Strategically lead Managed Care for 34 entities, including 10 Surgery Centers & 24 practices supporting Ophthalmology, Optometry, Retinal Specialists physicians, and CRNA’s. -Direct the Managed Care strategy to improve medical & vision payor relationships and negotiate new and existing payor contracts. -Lead team of 6 reports and drive local Managed Care strategy by providing support to CFO, VP of Finance, the Sr. VP of Operations, the 5 Regional VP of Operations, the Directors of Operations and Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) leadership. -Report directly to the CFO.

Health System

-Directed network contracting and provider relations departments supporting 13,000 providers and 75,000 Medicaid members. -Contracting efforts include Value Based Contracting with key Health Systems & provider groups. -Lead and developed team of 20 employees with 5 direct reports. -Health plan Liaison with Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) facilitating cooperation, communication and strategic planning. -Lead Joint Operations Commitees (JOC) with key health systems and provider associations. -Coordinated provider education efforts, town halls and claim resolution.-Prepared health plan for new "go live" business of 1/1/17 including network adequacy, staffing departments, implementing policies and procedures, and meeting RFP requirements.

-Managed state-wide Medicaid network of 10,000 hospital, physician and ancillary providers serving 105,000 members.-Led Value Based Contracting efforts including Pay for Performance (P4P) with over 40 provider locations.-Managed and developed health plan contracting team, provided training and growth opportuinies for new employees.-Prepared sections for 2016 Request for Preposal (RFP).

-Led key hospital negotiations for the Commercial contracts resulting in more standard language and over $1 Million in annual savings.-Managed a team responsible for contract negotiations and relationship management of 50+ Hospitals, 1,000+ Physicians, and 15 Ancillary providers for Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid & Tricare products in the Nebraska/Western Iowa market.-Oversaw statewide Medicaid network expansion and negotiation strategies and recruited 10+ hospitals and 20+ physician groups.

-Negotiated and managed the contracting for 40+ hospitals and 50+ hospital owned ancillary providers including ambulatory surgery centers, home health, hospice, IV therapy, ambulance, skilled nursing facilities, imaging centers, labs, and DME in Virginia & West Virginia. -Managed negotiation strategies and end to end contract facilitation of new and existing hospitals and ancillary providers.-Conducted regular meetings with facilities to educate, resolve claim and administrative concerns, share updates from the Medical Director, review existing and new policies, and increase use of electronic capabilities.

-Managed the Dental and Oral Surgery Commercial and Medicaid Networks which consisted of 2,300 providers who supported 1 Million dental and 2.5 Million medical members, achieved network growth and maintained aggressive fee schedules.-Increased Dental Network visibility by establishing partnerships with the Virginia Dental Association, Virginia Academy of General Dentistry and the Virginia Commonwealth University Dental School.-Conducted annual dental fee schedule analyses and received approval for the recommendations I presented to the VP of Provider Network Management and the VP of Sales & Marketing.-Supervised the Dental Contractor's onsite visit program and provided regional retention and recruitment strategies for Medicaid and Commercial Networks.

-Demonstrated leadership, project management and physician relationship skills on the Administrative Team to accomplish the mission and vision of the 2 campus Medical Center.-Prepared portions of the $31.4 Million Capital Asset Management System (CAMS) application for an Outpatient Diagnostic Imaging Center, Gamma Knife, Medical Office Building and Parking Deck.-Evaluated and implemented plans to improve patient and visitor access prior to and during the construction of the $44 Million Levinson Heart Hospital.-Supervised the employee credit Unions $6 Million operation, founded a credit and debit card program and increased membership by 6% over a one-year period.
