I worked as a CNC Machinist. My duties included setting up and operating multiple 5-Axis vertical milling machines (Okuma milling centers, series 400, 4020, 560). As well as, make suggestion with regard to tooling, fixturing, etc. to help increase efficiency and provide ideas to help improve operations. Load/feed machines as required to produce finished products. Perform in-process inspection for dimensions of parts produced and maintain documentation as required. Keep count of parts, maintain records and time sheet documentation. Proper handling of material, parts and equipment to prevent damage and loss of finished product. Operate various precision equipment. CMM Machines, micro heights, tooling preset machines etc.

At Watts, I worked as a 4-Axis (DMG Mori) CNC Setup Operator as well as an Assembler. My duties included setting up and operating multiple horizontal milling machines as well as assembly cell valve testers. I was also an assembler associated with the machines I worked with and other machine cells within my department. Perform set-up of equipment in a timely and efficient manner to prepare for production runs. Load/feed machines as required to produce finished products. Keep count of parts, maintain records and time sheet documentation. Proper handling of material, parts and equipment to prevent damage and loss of finished product. Assemble valves associated with specific machining cells. Ensure quality of assembly components and valves built. Work with tool preset machines.
