I am an experienced administrator with a demonstrated history of working in the higher education industry. I currently specialize in project management, research and analysis for strategic initiatives in higher education. My current working portfolio includes projects that seek to innovate in academic fields across the learner spectrum, including pre-college, undergraduate, graduate and professional education. I work closely with faculty, administrators and industry experts to launch new programs and academic initiatives at Berkeley. I develop high-level strategies for the creation and implementation of academic programs, administrative operations, and revenue generation opportunities for campus units at UC Berkeley.Before working in higher education administration, I taught as an adjunct professor, and worked to help students enhance their critical thinking skills, analytical skills and writing skills in the social sciences and humanities. My educational approach included creating an inclusive and engaging classroom environment where students could interact with the material and their peers in order to investigate anthropological method and theory. I have a Doctorate (PhD) in Anthropology from Michigan State University. My skills include business modeling, contract negotiation, project management, strategy creation and implementation, research, data analysis, statistical methods and analysis, database systems and management, teaching at the undergraduate and graduate level, academic course and program design, and presentations to high level faculty, administrators and leaders.
