I was an NCO and Armourer in the REME. Responsible for inspection, maintaining and repairing of small arms up to and including the Warrior Armoured Fighting Vehicle. This saw me ensuring that the soldiers continue to have equipment available and serviceable for them to be able to carry out their role as infantry soldiers in a very busy front line Armoured Infantry Unit. Being dual roles, I was a qualified Physical Training Instructor. This saw me ensuring soldiers physical needs were met to pass all Mandatory Annual Training Tests.
