I was hired to work for three months on foundational research for a new financial services company. The project examined money management among low to mid wage individuals working for an international fast food chain with the aim of identifying financial management strategies and unmet financial service needs. As a contracted researcher on the project, I was responsible for conducting semi-structured interviews, overseeing participants' financial diary-keeping, managing data sheets, created summary profiles and sharing case studies with the research team and other departments (working most closely with the design and financial wellness departments).

I'm developing courses on the history of anthropology and on methods for gathering and communicating visual data.

- Developed and executed multiple ethnographic research projects, including a yearlong project "Designing Experience", examining teamwork, user research, and experience design in architecture for healthcare- Presented findings at a dozen professional conferences and workshops - Organized multiple panels for professional conferences- Authored 5 published and forthcoming articles and chapters - Co-edited a special issue of the Cambridge Journal of Anthropology- Produced a book-length dissertation manuscript on empathy in architectural design practice
