I founded the company with the aim to build a sustainable business in the computing and electronic related product area such as Computer sales and technical services.In 1998 the company began the processing of electronic waste for Companies such as British Gas and the Nationwide Building Society which rapidly grew into one of the most successful Recyling companies for IT in the UK.Also in 1998 we diversified and set up CKS Entertainment Systems Ltd for the Distribution of Fujitsu Plasma Screens and supplying Corporate clients and retail outlets across the UK such as Harrods, John Lewis etc and a significant number of independant retailers. In 2001 our sales reach £10m and had exceeded all expectations.I predicted that within 4 years 80% of households would have a flat screen TV either Plasma or LCD, it only took 3 years.The Recycling business was growing rapidly as we engaged with other members of the industry formulating what is known as the WEEE directive working with the environment agency during 1998 and in 2003 opened a new operation in Rushden Northamptonshire. This facility provided services on an International basis and supported a Charity set up with us in Ghana providing IT studies across 73 school to 72,000 students. Our sales of refurbished computers and other It products were made through our sister company Green PC (UK) Ltd. The group also supported Schools and colleges in Romania as a part of our Policy on social and corporate responsibilty.The Company was floated in 2005 on the Plus market and became a divisional company of CKS Goup PLC.In 2006 we built a 75,000 sq ft facility in Gloucestershire processing Electronics waste forming a new company within the group ( CKS Electronic Recycling Ltd ) This facility achieved 99.5% recycling rate and was recognised internationally as being at the leading edge of technical development The Group was now presenting at conferences in Europe,Canada, the USA and S Africa.

I set up the first Corporate sales division for Panasonic, outside of Japan. The activity of this division was to establish direct sales channels to major corporate clients giving direct access to the full range of Pansonics business and commercial products. Due to our success this was replicated in other Panasonic sales companies in all other countries Panasonic operated in.During this time I establish a team to develop what is now known as The Panasonic Toughbook Computer. The development of this product came as a result of an enquiry from British Gas for a ruggudized computer for it field service engineers and technicians. The development of the Toughbook resulted in a contract to supply British Gas valued at £48 million. The product reached 80% share in the field service industry. It is now used widely around the world in telecommunications and the security services and extensively by the military.
