I am an innovative and determined mechanical engineer and entrepreneur with over 18 years of experience in manufacturing process improvement, automation design, and product development. I have a master's degree in business administration with a focus on innovation and entrepreneurship, and I am passionate about finding elegant and effective solutions to complex problems that face the world today.As the Senior Manager Manufacturing Engineering at MANN+HUMMEL, I lead a team of 50+ associates and manage the maintenance, advanced engineering, and process engineering groups at the Allen facility. I am responsible for helping develop and executing a 5-year strategic plan for improving the output and efficiency of the plant, and for integrating a new SAP maintenance system with the operational needs and best practices. I also run my own startup company and fabrication business, where I have invented and patented a custom tool that allows oil filters and the oil trapped above them to be drained before they are removed. I have been a finalist in the SEMA Launchpad competition for innovators and entrepreneurs under 40 years old, and I have multiple certifications and honors related to my field of expertise.
