I lead the development of proposals to support and expand Youth Villages' programs, crafting responses to RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, and ITNs with precision and strategy. From research to submission, I manage every step—drafting, editing, gathering documentation, and ensuring compliance. I facilitate team meetings to gather feedback, guide writing best practices, and maintain a content library that keeps our messaging consistent and compelling. I tailor communications to different audiences, delivering polished, high-quality materials that align with our organizational goals and drive impact.

I streamlined processes and managed projects to enhance district-wide initiatives, including instructional walkthroughs, the Professional Learning Catalog, District Learning Days, the Leadership Symposium, and teacher support programs. I provided updates to the Executive Director, prepared reports, and collaborated with community partners to align professional learning with district priorities. My work involved planning and coordinating key events, such as organizing professional learning for 6,584 teachers across 38 content areas, managing planning committees for the annual Leadership Institute, and overseeing orientation for 900 new teachers and Specialized Education Assistants. Collaboration was central to my role, involving partnerships with community organizations to identify learning opportunities aligned with district goals. I also engaged stakeholders to promote learning opportunities through the District-wide Professional Learning Catalog, which featured 197 synchronous and 125 asynchronous sessions. Additionally, I focused on technical writing and graphic design, creating visually appealing and brand-aligned communications to support the district’s educational initiatives and foster a collaborative learning environment.

As a Professional Learning Advisor, I specialized in content development and facilitation, crafting professional learning materials for teachers across in-person, virtual, and asynchronous formats. These included both Secondary English Language Arts courses and content-agnostic offerings on Canvas LMS. In program development, I created initiatives like High School New Teacher and Proximity Teacher Support to strengthen teacher skills, developed content for Teacher Development Week that engaged approximately 800 teacher leaders, and supported the Build Bridges Saturday Camp focused on student engagement. Mentorship was central to my work—I developed resources for the New Teacher Mentor program, supporting 343 mentors, and coordinated New Teacher Content Intensives for specialized training. Collaboration with district leaders and stakeholders was vital, ensuring professional development programs and resources aligned with district priorities and addressed teacher needs effectively.

In my teaching roles, I focused on intentional planning, leveraging data-driven cycles to identify and close student learning gaps. This approach contributed to a 60% pass rate on the AP English Language & Composition Exam in 2019-2020 and earned me a Level 5 Effectiveness rating from TVAAS in 2021-2022.
