At the chair of Innovation Economics, in my PhD I will investigate drivers, barriers and succuess factors of Spin-offs from Academia

Research and innovation are increasingly called upon to contribute to overcoming societal challenges. The Competence Center (CC) Policy and Society examines the resulting requirements for research and innovation systems, as well as for the design of a research, technology and innovation policy committed to sustainability and societal well-being and its coordination with other policy fields.The CC Policy and Society advises and supports clients from politics, politics-related organisations and academia at the supranational, national, regional and local levels in the conception of research and innovation policy and transformative strategies, as well as in the evaluation and development of funding measures, funding programmes and governance instruments.

According to the law of appointment the Commission of Experts for Research and Innovation (EFI) is responsible for:► Combining the interdisciplinary discourse with regard to innovation research of economic and social sciences, economics of education, engineering and natural sciences and the engineering perspective and► Giving scientific policy advice in: a) Presentation and analysis of structures, trends, performances and perspectives of the German research and innovation system in a temporal and international comparison.b) Assessment of high priority questions of the German research and innovation system.c) Development of possible actions, and action recommendations, for the development of the German research and innovation system.

► Research on economic, political and legal issues► Preparatory activities for appointments of policy analysts

► Contribution to current topics in the fields of European policy, science, research and art► Assistance in the preparation of press releases► Organisational support at events

► Implementation of evaluations of various customer surveys► Creation and revision of online surveys► Conception, implementation and evaluation of an internal employee survey of Consulimus AG

► Documentation and preparation of data from the European Labour Force Survey (EU-LFS)► Support in data analysis► Literature research

Collaboration in the Orga team and support of internal communication.
