It all started with a $350 ad in the Marketeer, a small marketing booklet that used to be handed out locally. I started installing kitchens and remodeling bathrooms with no real prior knowledge on how to do so. All I had were magazines I was able to read in Home Depot and many questions to those who have done it already. This quickly grew into a successful custom home building company doing millions a year. For every 100k that I personally saved I would buy a 2 family home, until I reached 10m in real estate. (took me 10 years to get there)I then decided I want to go full time into real estate ownership. How do I do that?, I asked myself. I realized it would have to include other people. At first, I was hesitant to allow others into my investing journey, then realized it was the only way to grow. StoutCap was born.
